Flexible Licensing Model

ROBObak is licensed according to the amount of compressed data that can be stored on the server, meaning there is no need to worry about managing client licenses. Unlimited ROBObak clients can be deployed on as many or few machines as required.

Minimum Storage Space Required

When a file is modified, ROBObak uses delta-block technology to transfer only the changed blocks within the file to the backup server. ROBObak supports deduplication, or common file elimination, to ensure that multiple identical copies of files are not stored. Advanced compression further reduces storage and bandwidth requirements.

Data is Secure

ROBObak uses the 256-bit AES encryption to ensure that all data is secure, both during transfer and while stored.

Smart Crawl Technology

ROBObak's Advanced File Crawl Technology ™ allows you to protect any file type on any LAN or WAN system within seconds. ROBObak provides custom templates, allowing you to quickly choose which files to protect. For instance, you can save all PDFs or Excel spreadsheets, regardless of where they're located.

Centralized Management

ROBObak Web Operator provides a single web based access point to control backups to all LAN or WAN clients.

Powerful Feature Add-Ons

ROBObak's capabilities can be extended with the use of powerful add-on modules. The ROBO-FM module allows the ROBObak client to back up open, locked of in-use files. Coming soon, the ROBO-CR module will allow for complete, bare metal restores of servers and workstations, even to dissimilar hardware.
