WinGate
[Current version of WinGate VPN is 2.5.1 - released December 22, 2008]

WinGate VPN Access Management

The access management tools in WinGate VPN help make implementation and maintaince of the VPN far easier for network administrators. Easy configuration, customized routes, real-time activity and traffic monitoring, NT user database integration, and the ability to import and export VPN configuration files all combine to establish WinGate VPN as an ideal networking solution.

An intuitive interface makes simple work of establishing VPN hosts and connecting to other VPNs. Because WinGate VPN can be established on existing network configurations, familiarity and current network integrity can be maintained, making the task of employing a VPN much simpler.

WinGate VPN allows network administrators to customize which local routes are made available to the VPN. Along with other security features, customized routes offer complete control over data available on the private network.

Real-time activity monitors and traffic monitors provide "at-a-glance" information about all the data on the VPN. The real-time activity monitors offer a look at every VPN node connecting to the VPN host. For assistance in bandwidth utilization studies, the graphical traffic monitor will return a report for each interface on the server (e.g.; internal NICs, dial-up adapters, etc.).

WinGate VPN seamlessly integrates with user accounts established in Windows NT and 2000, eliminating duplicate efforts. With no need to recreate user accounts, an administrator's time is freed for more pressing matters.

The ability to import and export the WinGate VPN configuration files makes simple work of establishing new VPNs on an existing network. Once the initial private network has been established, the configuration data can be placed on the new VPN, then customized as necessary.
